Great facilities with easy access to the lake. Nice pet and kid friendly paths circle the lake shore giving good access to great spots to fish and hang out. Encounters with staff make this a less than pleasant experience however. Certain staff are under the impression that walking into the water up to your shins constitutes swimming (which isn't allowed at this lake) and they will loudly accost you if you try to cool your feet off in the water.
I was very disappointed that the gate to the lake wasn't open (as stated on the website), we tried to walk it but it turned out to be too much for this old lady. Will plan better next trip.
Beautiful place to hang out for the day or to camp for the night Had a blast even though the fish were not biting at all.
Great location but needs to be bigger and more upgrades for being where it’s at I’m very disappointed I wouldn’t mind paying a premium fee to fish at a much nicer place

Just came back from camping at Rose canyon. Love it. The camp hosts are awesome. They are very attentive and on top of everything and everyone. Nice cold weather which was nice and a break from the heat. New bathrooms at the top where the lake is. Huge fish in the lake this time around too.
Celebrated my Cousin Matthew Young 65th Birthday. Had a Amazing Time. Definitely will come back. And maybe camp out. Thanks💜❤🖤💚💰😘
